Stickney Sets Record + Wins Gold at Worlds!

In 2026 Morgan Set the record for Most Shutouts at the u18 Women’s World Championships in Halifax , Nova Scotia, Canada, Stickney now has 5 Career shutouts at the Worlds! Stickney also helped Team USA bring home the U18 Gold Medal! Stick was perfect in her games as she did not give up any goals in the tournament!

Stickney at Shattuck-St Mary’s

The Manhattan Beach, California native attends Shattuck-St Mary’s in Faribault, Minnesota. During the 2023–24 season, as a sophomore, she posted a 28–0–2 record with a 1.55 GAA and .932 save percentage.

On May 11, 2023, The Portland WInterhawks of the Western Hockey League selected Stickney in the 10th round of the draft. She was the second female player to be drafted by a Canadian Hockey League team.

Morgan joined RGA in the spring of 2024. “Stick” quickly became a regular attendee of Lesson Ice and Camps and gives back by coaching younger goalies at camps.

In 2025 Morgan Stickney Won the Silver Medal at the Women’s u18 World Championships in Vaanta, Finland. Stickney was also named to the All Tournament team. She posted three consecutive shutouts during the preliminary round, and a single-tournament shutout streak record of 183:01 minutes. During the tournament she started all six games winning 5.She led the tournament with a 0.67 GAA and .957 save percentage, and was named to the media all-star team.
