Tommy Nappier – Pittsburgh Penguins – The Ohio State
Tommy is one of the Original Racine Goalie Academy students! Nappier was a regular at Thursday Lesson ice and was an instructor for RGA for several years

“Napes” grew up with RGA. Starting in the Kirkwood Stars organization. Tommy quickly moved up to the AAA Blues.
Tommy spent his junior career playing for the Omaha Lancers in the USHL. Nappier joined The Ohio State in the fall of 2017.

- Posted two of the Top 3 season save percentages in Ohio State history, with .934 in 2018-19 ranking second and .932 in 2019-20 third all-time
- Program-record 1.86 goals-against average in 2018-19 and 2.04 in 2019-20 was fourth in school history
- Eight career shutouts are fourth in Ohio State history
- Four shutouts in 2018-19 tied for third for a Buckeye in a single season and were the most since Brady Hjelle had four in 2013
- Shutout streak of 195:32 in 2018-19 ranks third in program history
- One of six Ohio State goalies with shutouts in back-to-back starts
- 2018 Ohio State Scholar-Athlete
- Voted co-team Most Improved Player in 2019

Tommy went onto sign with the Pittsburgh Penguins organization and spent 3 seasons in the Black and Gold.
