Joey Obrien – Niagra University

An Original RGA student. Joey grew up playing for the ST Louis AAA Blues!

Joey attended Christian Brothers College High School in St. Louis. In 2012 Joey led CBC to the Missouri State Championship!

Joey went play two seasons in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) with the Nipawin Hawks…In 75 games with Nipawin, recorded a record of 37-27-6…Finished his junior career with a 2.53 goals-against average, .926 save percentage, and three shutouts…Was named the Sherwood Division Goalie of the Year for the 2014-15 season

“OB” committed to Niagara University in the fall of 2015..Earned his first collegiate win vs. AIC (11/20)…Named to the 2015-16 Atlantic Hockey All-Academic Team
