Jake Barczewski – Colorado Avalanche
After a strong AAA St Louis Blues youth Career Jake spent time in the NAHL with the Janesville Jets and the USHL
Jake quickly became one of RGA High End students and led the wave of second generation RGA students!
Jake uses his athleticism combined with a strong technical game and a snake like glove to compliment his compete level. This helped make Jake one of the top prospects in the USHL!
Jake the Snake Committed to Canisius College and quickly excelled at the NCAA level.

• Four-year starter at Canisius
• Led the Golden Griffins to 2023 Atlantic Hockey Championship and NCAA Tournament
• First-team all-conference in 2021-22 and third-team in 2022-23
• 2020-21 Canisius Male Athlete of the Year
• Played in 100 NCAA games, with a 44-42-8 record, a .917 save percentage and a 2.60 goals-against average.
• Two-time Atlantic Hockey all-academic team
Barczewski became Graduate Student in 2023/2024 season and joined the University of Michigan,
• NCAA Midwest Regional All-Regional Team
• Named B1G First Star of the Week (Feb. 17)
• Named B1G Second Star of the Week (Oct. 24, Nov. 28)
• Named B1G Third Star of the Week (Feb. 6)
• Had 12 games with 30+ saves
• Finished the season with a career best 20-14-3 record, two shutouts, a .907 save percentage and a 2.84 GAA
